Sweet and sour Grilled Chicken (phase 1-4) serves 4
1/2 cup vinegar
4 tbsp prepared coarse-ground mustard
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/4 lime, juiced
1/4 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup Walden Farms pancake syrup
1 tsp sea salt
ground black pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
In a large glass bowl, mix the vinegar, mustard, garlic, lime juice, lemon juice, pancake syrup, sea salt, and pepper. Whisk in the olive oil. Place chicken in the mixture. Cover, and marinate 8 hours, or overnight.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate. Place chicken on the prepared grill, and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, until juices run clear. Discard marinade
