Add some spice to your life!

Adding spice to your meals may add some fat blocking powers.  According to The Journal of Nutrition, people who added a total of 2 tbsps of spices including black pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, paprika, cinnamon, and oregano- had 30% lower levels of triglycerides (at type of blood fat) than those who skipped seasoning their meal.  Spice may slow the digestion of fat, reducing the post-meal triglyceride spike that can lead to heart disease over time. Spice it up tonight!
